Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how LUNSY UI (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with this website and our web interface design and user experience services. It is intended to describe the categories of information that may be encountered through normal website use, how information may be handled when a visitor chooses to contact us outside the website, and the limits of the custom inquiry form currently presented on this site.
LUNSY UI provides web interface design and user experience services, including user journey planning, web component design, page hierarchy development, content presentation, and interface consistency reviews. Our listed services do not include software development, website hosting, server administration, payment processing, cybersecurity services, or management of client information systems. This Privacy Policy applies only to information handled in connection with our website and our own business communications and does not describe the privacy practices of a client’s website, hosting provider, analytics provider, payment provider, or other third party.
1. Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Policy applies to visitors who access or interact with the LUNSY UI website and to individuals who communicate with us about potential or active design projects. It does not apply to third-party websites, services, applications, platforms, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, or other systems that may be operated independently from LUNSY UI.
If a client provides information to us during an active project, the handling of that project information may also be governed by a separate proposal, statement of work, confidentiality provision, or other written agreement. Where a signed agreement contains privacy or confidentiality terms that differ from this general website Privacy Policy, the signed agreement will control to the extent of the inconsistency.
2. Information You May Choose to Provide
When you contact LUNSY UI outside the website, you may voluntarily provide information such as your name, business name, professional role, email address, telephone number, website address, project background, requested services, design requirements, scheduling preferences, files, screenshots, written content, interface references, or other information relevant to evaluating or performing a design project.
You should provide only information that is reasonably necessary for the design inquiry or project. Please do not provide passwords, authentication credentials, full payment card numbers, government identification numbers, medical records, sensitive employee data, or other highly sensitive information unless a specific written agreement expressly requires it and an appropriate secure transmission method has been established.
3. Website Inquiry Form
The project inquiry form included in the current custom website design is intentionally configured as a client-side interface only. Completing and activating the form button does not transmit the entered information to LUNSY UI, does not send an email, and does not intentionally store the form submission in a LUNSY UI database. The form validates that required fields have been completed and then displays an informational confirmation message within the visitor’s browser.
Because the form does not transmit the information entered into it, submitting the on-page form does not create a project request, contract, service order, or obligation by LUNSY UI to respond. A visitor who wants to begin a real conversation should use the business email address or telephone number displayed on the Contact section of the website.
Although the custom form is not designed to transmit data, the visitor’s browser, device, browser extensions, operating system, accessibility software, or the e-commerce platform hosting the page may independently process technical information. Those processes are outside the custom form logic described above.
4. Technical and Platform Information
Like most websites, the platform used to host this site may automatically generate or process technical information when a visitor loads a page. Depending on the hosting environment and browser configuration, this may include IP address, browser type, operating system, language settings, approximate geographic region, device characteristics, referral information, request timestamps, page requests, error logs, and security-related event data.
LUNSY UI does not represent that every category listed above is collected in every visit. The exact information available depends on the services and settings used by the website platform and other infrastructure providers. Platform-level processing may occur for functions such as delivering page content, maintaining sessions, load balancing, protecting the service from abuse, storing preferences, or producing basic operational logs.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The custom website sections supplied for LUNSY UI do not intentionally install advertising pixels, behavioral advertising scripts, or third-party marketing analytics code. However, the Shopify platform, theme functionality, consent tools, embedded services, or other applications added by the site operator may use cookies or similar technologies for essential website functions.
For additional information, please review the separate Cookie Policy. If analytics, advertising cookies, Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, heat-mapping tools, session-recording technology, or comparable technologies are added later, the Cookie Policy and, where required, consent controls should be updated before or when those technologies are activated.
6. How We May Use Information Received Outside the Website
Information that you voluntarily send to LUNSY UI through normal business communication channels may be used to:
- respond to inquiries and discuss potential design services;
- evaluate project scope, requested deliverables, timing, and practical requirements;
- prepare proposals, estimates, schedules, invoices, or project documentation;
- perform contracted web interface design and user experience services;
- communicate about revisions, approvals, deliverables, and project administration;
- maintain records reasonably necessary for accounting, compliance, dispute resolution, and business operations;
- protect our business, website, communications, and legal rights from fraud, misuse, or unlawful activity; and
- comply with lawful requests or obligations that apply to us.
7. Project Materials
Clients may provide screenshots, page layouts, text, design files, brand references, navigation structures, existing user flows, content inventories, or related materials for use in a design engagement. We use project materials only as reasonably necessary to understand the requested design problem, perform the agreed services, communicate about revisions, and maintain appropriate project records.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have authority to provide project materials to us. A client should not send personal data or confidential information belonging to another person or organization unless the client has a lawful basis and appropriate permission to do so.
8. Service Providers
We may use ordinary business service providers to support communications, file storage, accounting, scheduling, document preparation, or other administrative functions. When information is provided to such a service provider, it is limited to what is reasonably required for that provider to perform the relevant function.
We do not sell personal information to advertisers. We do not provide client inquiry information to third parties for their independent direct-marketing use merely because a person contacted us about design services.
9. Legal and Business Disclosures
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, valid legal process, court orders, regulatory requirements, or lawful governmental requests. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, misuse, security incidents, or conduct that may threaten the rights, property, safety, or operations of LUNSY UI or another person.
If LUNSY UI undergoes a business reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, asset transfer, or similar transaction, relevant business records may be reviewed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate confidentiality protections.
10. Data Retention
The website inquiry form itself is not designed to transmit or store completed submissions. Information received through external business communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was received, including project administration, accounting, contract records, legal compliance, dispute management, and ordinary business recordkeeping.
Retention periods can vary based on the nature of the information, whether a project was entered into, applicable legal obligations, and whether the information remains necessary for legitimate business purposes. We may delete information earlier when there is no reasonable business or legal reason to continue retaining it.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical practices appropriate to the nature of the information we handle. No method of electronic communication, device storage, cloud storage, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. For this reason, clients should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information and should discuss an appropriate transfer method before sending confidential project materials that require special protection.
Our design services do not include cybersecurity services, security testing, server administration, or security management of client systems. Any design recommendation involving login screens, password fields, account interfaces, or security-related user flows concerns interface presentation only unless a signed agreement explicitly states otherwise.
12. Your Choices and Requests
Depending on the law that applies to your situation, you may have rights concerning personal information that LUNSY UI maintains about you, such as requesting access, correction, deletion, or information about how it is used. These rights may be subject to exceptions for legal obligations, contract records, dispute resolution, legitimate business records, or other lawful reasons.
To make a privacy-related request, contact LUNSY UI using the information listed at the end of this Policy. We may need to verify the identity and authority of the person making the request before taking action.
13. Children’s Privacy
This website and our professional design services are directed to businesses and adult clients. They are not intended to solicit personal information from children. If we become aware that information from a child has been provided in a context where it should not have been collected, we may take reasonable steps to delete it.
14. International Visitors
Visitors may access this website from locations outside the United States. If you voluntarily communicate with LUNSY UI from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or in locations where our ordinary service providers operate. Applicable privacy rights may vary based on your location and the nature of the interaction.
15. Third-Party Websites and Services
If this website later references or links to a third-party service, that third party may have its own privacy policy and data practices. LUNSY UI does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party websites, platforms, analytics providers, payment processors, hosting providers, or software tools.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy when our website configuration, business practices, legal requirements, or services change. A revised policy will identify a new revision date. Material changes should be reviewed together with any corresponding changes to the website’s actual data-handling configuration.
